Imagine this: It’s early 2020. The world as we know it comes to a grinding halt. Streets once buzzing with life now lie empty. Schools, offices, and shops are closed, and we’re bombarded daily with news of rising cases, loss, and fear. A dark shadow hangs over everything, thickening with every new headline. Uncertainty and panic linger in the air like a fog that refuses to lift.

In the midst of all this, something unexpected emerges — something more powerful than fear. Love. Do you remember that time? Maybe it was your parents, or perhaps you, who had to venture out for essentials, risking exposure to the virus. Yet, every time someone came home, what was the first thing they did? They didn’t run to embrace their loved ones. Instead, they followed strict routines — washing hands meticulously, sanitizing everything, ensuring they didn’t touch anyone until they felt it was safe.

Think about that for a moment. What did these small acts of caution really signify? That wasn’t just about hygiene; it was love in action. An instinctual desire to protect. Even when people were exhausted, worried, or afraid, they took these precautions for one reason: to shield their families. The desire to protect, especially the vulnerable, became a ritual — an expression of love in the face of fear.
