Living on a Fireball: Embracing Divine Blessings

Have you ever read about or seen a live volcano erupting? The pictures show lava that looks like solidified fire. This eruption happens from inside the Earth’s surface, providing conclusive evidence that there is extremely hot molten material inside the Earth. It’s like we’re all walking and living on top of a fireball, yet we are not harmed by it.

Some might argue that the magma is deep inside the Earth, hundreds or even thousands of kilometers away, so how could it pose a threat to us? But just thinking about it can make us realize how blessed we are. Each living being is like having a bit of divine power to walk on a fireball. Because we consciously don’t keep this perspective in mind, in our daily lives, we often worry about many things and forget about the divine power within us, unnecessarily carrying the burden of various concerns.

Now, consider water — it’s not just an essential element for sustainable life; it is life itself. Water plays a crucial role in our daily lives, though we may not always realize it. In places like the northern plains of India, people rely on rivers as their water source, originating from glaciers in the Himalayan region.

We didn’t create those glaciers; they were created by the divine for us. The Himalayas, formed millions of years ago due to geological movements, benefit us all. No human supervised or tracked this process, yet we all benefit from the outcome. This is another blessing we tend to forget in our daily lives.

These are just two examples, and if we observe ourselves and our surroundings carefully, counting our blessings, we realize they are countless. If nature provides all of this, it implies that nature has authority over everything and can reclaim it at will.

Some may question what to do with this understanding. Well, one could start practicing gratitude, being thankful for everything they have. Acknowledging the divine blessings in our consciousness can significantly reduce stress in our lives. The realization that the life force is not in our control might make us question why we feel tense or proud of our achievements.

In reality, it’s the ounce of divine power at play and once this understanding is developed, you will start enjoying the process!
